Terms and Conditions

This document sets forth the Terms and Conditions governing the contractual relationship between you and WELCOME TO PERU for all travel services.

Contracted Services

Please remember that all tour purchases made through our website or at our Cusco office are processed in U.S. dollars and Peruvian soles. WELCOME TO PERU. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Responsibilities

WELCOME TO PERU will not assume responsibility for expenses arising from unfavorable circumstances, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, or personal incidents. We highly recommend that clients secure travel insurance. We retain the authority to modify or cancel itineraries in the case of such unforeseen events.

Cancellations and unused services are non-refundable. While WELCOME TO PERU prioritizes a safe and enjoyable experience, we decline all responsibility for damages, injuries, losses, or expenses caused by delays or events beyond our control, including acts of God or force majeure events.

Travel insurance

To ensure safety and peace of mind, all travelers must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations or lost deposits. It is crucial to understand that no refunds will be provided for unused services or cancellations.

Even though WELCOME TO PERU prioritizes your safety with security measures and professional staff, we highly recommend getting travel insurance.

Health and physical fitness

To ensure your well-being and safety, please notify WELCOME TO PERU of any existing medical conditions or allergies. Good physical health is essential for participants. If you have questions, please consult your doctor. Guests over 70 years of age must present a medical certificate.

Please remember that assessing your ability to participate in this tour is your sole responsibility. This includes consulting with a doctor about your fitness to travel, mandatory vaccinations, and relevant health precautions. We do not provide medical advisory services.

At any time, WELCOME TO PERU may, at its discretion, refuse your participation in the tour or trip if your physical or mental condition puts your safety or the safety of others at risk.

Privacy

Customer privacy is a top priority for WELCOME TO PERU. For this reason, your personal information will only be shared with the governmental or private entities essential for the provision of the agreed-upon tourism services.

Payment Methods

At WELCOME TO PERU, we accept payments via debit/credit cards, PayPal, or Western Union for international clients. For clients in Peru and some Latin American countries, we accept bank transfers (BCP, Interbank) and digital wallets (Yape, Plin).

Debit/credit card payments incur an additional 5% surcharge, and PayPal payments have an 8% surcharge. These will be added to your total cost for both deposits and outstanding balances. For outstanding balances, it’s ideal to pay in cash two days before your trip (with no fees) at our physical office in Cusco.

Cancellation Policy

The client agrees to the cancellation policy, which includes financial penalties that vary based on the notification period

Terms of Service

Cancellations by the Client for Half-Day and Full-Day Trips in Cusco (Sacred Valley and Cusco Tours)

  • For programs not necessitating the acquisition of Machu Picchu tickets, complimentary cancellation is available up to 48 hours before departure.
  • A $15 fee will be assessed for any tour date changes made within 48 hours of your scheduled departure.
  • You can receive a 50% refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of your trip’s departure.
  • In the event of a same-day cancellation, a 100% penalty of the trip’s value will be applied.

Client-Initiated Cancellation for Machu Picchu and Inca Trail Tours

  • When confirming your tour, please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations of Machu Picchu and Inca Trail tours are final, and no refunds will be issued once the departure is confirmed.
